Asklepius Bust

This us the bust of Asklepius, the Greco-Roman god of healing.

How is this bust of Asklepius significant for understanding the world of Paul?

Most sites have busts of Asklepius; this statue (and other from the Museum) confirm worship of him in Thessaloniki.

See Epidauros for much more information of Asklepius.
